MTD Capital Bhd (MTD or the Group) was incorporated in 1993 and listed on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad in 1998 before being taken private in 2011.
Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, MTD is a leading infrastructure conglomerate which has a long-established track record in civil engineering and construction, tollways, property development, technology and outdoor advertising service.
The Group’s Civil Engineering & Construction Division has extensive experience in the development of mountain roads, highways, bridges, building geotechnical works, erosion control and highway maintenance. MTD has successfully completed, among others, the construction of the 36-kilometre South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) in the Philippines, as well as the Kuala Lumpur-Karak Highway (KLK) and the East Coast Expressway (ECE Phase 1 and 2). It also developed Phase 1A of the National Government Administrative Centre (NGAC) in Clark City (former US airbase) in the Philippines for the Philippines Bases Conversion & Development Authority; in preparation for the South East Asian Games in December 2019.
Backed by its Manufacturing Division, which offers a full range of precast concrete products, MTD is able to undertake various infrastructure projects across the Asian region. The manufacturing operations, which specializes in Industrialised Building System (IBS), offers all types of bridge crossings, tunnel linings, railway sleepers, earthworks retaining structures, drains and other non-custom designs.
