TAN SRI DR. NIK HUSSAIN ABDUL RAHMAN Group Executive Chairman, MTD Group Non-Independent Executive Director Tan Sri Dr. Nik Hussain bin Abdul Rahman was appointed as Executive Chairman of MTD Capital Bhd on 16 November 1993 and was redesignated as Group Executive Chairman on 29 May 2001 and subsequently as Group Chairman on 4 February 2013. Tan Sri is one of the founders and the driving force behind the Company. Tan Sri Dr. Nik Hussain holds a Bachelor in Dental Surgery from the University of Singapore. He served in the Malaysian civil service as Deputy Minister of Works and Deputy Minister of Telecommunications and Posts from 1976 to 1984 before venturing into the corporate sector. Tan Sri was appointed as Director of MTD ACPI Engineering Berhad on 31 October 2003 and as Executive Chairman in January 2004, where Tan Sri held the position until his retirement on 26 September 2013. Tan Sri is the Chairman of MTD InfraPerdana Bhd and Metacorp Berhad, both are subsidiaries of MTD Capital Bhd. Tan Sri is also the Chairman of ANIH Berhad, a toll concession company and sits on the board of several other private limited companies. |
