AlloyMtd Contributes RM100,000 To Pahang State Government In Flood Relief Efforts

ALLOYMTD CONTRIBUTES RM100,000 TO PAHANG STATE GOVERNMENT IN FLOOD RELIEF EFFORTS

Kuantan, 30 December, 2013 – Pahang state which was badly hit by the flood recently and affected nearly 40,000 victims received a ray of hope when AlloyMtd Group contributed RM100,000 to the state government in support of the on-going relief efforts.

The donation was handed over by Encik Nik Fauzi Tan Sri Nik Hussein, Director, AlloyMtd Group to the State Secretary of Pahang, YB Dato’ Sri Muhammad Safian bin Ismail at a cheque presentation ceremony in the Pahang State Secretary Office, Kuantan.

“The worst flooding in Pahang resulted misery to the victims who lost their homes and belongings that brings us here to help lessen their burden. This contribution is part of our corporate philanthropy in enhancing the lives of the community in which we serve,” said Nik Fauzi.

Nik Fauzi also added, “This is our second visit in Kuantan to give support to the victims since the flood occurred. We feel it is important to provide a continuous assistance while people here are still recovering.”

The event also saw AlloyMtd sponsored 500 sets of school uniform and equipment to Sekolah Rendah Kebangsaan Bukit Kuin, Sekolah Rendah Kebangsaan Bukit Rangin and Rumah Anak-Anak Yatim Permata Al-Insyirah in Kuantan that were badly hit by the flood.
