AlloyMtd To Explore More Business Opportunities In The Philippines
Kuala Lumpur, 14 May 2014 – Multinational infrastructure company, AlloyMtd Group embarks on a new venture to explore more potential business partnerships in the Philippines with the recent visit by the world boxing champion turned politician, Congressman Manny Pacquiao.
AlloyMtd Group President & Chief Executive Officer, Dato’ Dr. Azmil Khalid who is also the Chairman of the Malaysia-Philippines Business Council (MPBC) expressed his gratitude over the interest of Manny Pacquiao to collaborate with AlloyMtd Group in further exploring business opportunities in the Philippines. Manny Pacquaio is here on a two days visit to Kuala Lumpur with his entourage former Governor of Ilocos Sur, Chavit Singson.

AlloyMtd recently through its investment arm company, MTD Capital Bhd has been pre-qualified to bid for the 35.4 billion pesos (RM2.6 billion) Cavite-laguna Expressway (CALAX) project in the Philippines, a 47km closed-system toll expressway that will connect the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) and the Manila Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX).
AlloyMtd has been aggresively exploring business opportunities in the Philippines, especially after successfully completed the rehabilitation, developing and maintaining the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX).
The Group is also undertaking development of a Regional Government Centre, dubbed the mini Putrajaya for the Calamba City Council and is scheduled to be launched in middle of 2014.
